Crystal & Fantasy Caves
Explore stunning underground caves filled with clear pools and dramatic stalactites. Guided tours explain the fascinating history and geology of these natural wonders.
St. George’s
This UNESCO World Heritage Site is filled with colourful colonial buildings, cobbled streets, and centuries of history. It’s one of the oldest continuously inhabited English towns in the New World.

Once a British military fortress, this area is now home to shops, museums, restaurants, and the Bermuda National Museum. It’s a great place to explore both history and local culture.

Packing Tips
Light clothing, beachwear, reef-safe sunscreen, and walking shoes are essential. Bring a light sweater for cooler evenings and rain gear if visiting in the off-season.
Dress Code
Island style is smart-casual. Beachwear is not worn in town, and many restaurants require resort casual dress. Bermuda shorts, collared shirts, and sundresses are common daywear.
Food & Water
Tap water is safe to drink and of high quality. Seafood is a highlight of local cuisine, with fresh fish, conch fritters, and the famous fish chowder being popular menu staples.

Safety & Health
Bermuda is very safe for travellers. Crime is low, and medical care is of a high standard. Comprehensive travel insurance is recommended due to the high cost of private healthcare.
Pink Sand Beaches
Bermuda’s beaches are famous for their unique pink sand, created by crushed coral and shells. Horseshoe Bay is the most well-known, but Warwick Long Bay and Elbow Beach are also stunning.
British Charm
Bermuda blends Caribbean beauty with British tradition. You’ll find red phone boxes, afternoon tea, and cricket matches alongside pastel houses and tropical scenery.
Subtropical Climate
Despite its Atlantic location, Bermuda enjoys a mild climate thanks to the Gulf Stream. Winters are cooler but still comfortable, while summers are warm without being overly humid.
No Chain Hotels
There are no international hotel chains on the island. Bermuda’s accommodation includes boutique hotels, historic inns, and luxury resorts with a strong local feel.
Shipwreck Capital
Bermuda is known for its coral reefs and over 300 shipwrecks, making it a top destination for snorkelling and diving. Many wrecks are easily accessible and full of marine life.
